This facility was designed be able to train regardless of the inclement weather and continue on the training regiments that the horses must be on to be able to compete. The overall size requirement for this facility dictated that we design it with a metal building super structure, because of its flexibility and cost savings. Our task was to design a facility that would handle the basic requirements of the space with regards to protection from inclement weather, clearances for the horse and rider, lighting, moveable jumping platforms and the turf. The turf was carefully evaluated and a specialist was brought in to provide the proper recipe for a long lasting turf that would allow regular maintenance. The final result is one that the Owner loves and is used even during good weather due to proximity to the barn and the wonderful turf that is healthy for the horses.
